Carol Huber

B.Ed., MBA, M.A., Registered Psychologist

I am a registered psychologist who provides individual, adult clients with counselling that focuses on helping them navigate the life cycle challenges and transitions they experience.

With decades of life experience and professional development, I assist clients dealing with parent/child relations, learning strategies, professional identity issues, stress management, self-esteem/confidence, anxiety, depression, ageing, loss, dying, death and grief.

Using the power of the therapeutic alliance and the art of asking strategic questions I aim to coax and guide clients toward realizing and living the change they are seeking. My primary therapeutic intent is to create a safe, open, engaging narrative space whereby clients can explore, edit and rewrite the stories of their lives.

My therapeutic training and approach involves the theories and techniques of:  narrative therapy, emotion-focused therapy, relationship coaching and mindfulness-based practices.
