Happiness Happens

We were at the hospital visiting our 92 year old woman friend yesterday.  Good news is that she’s recovering well.  I blew her a kiss as I was leaving and was struck by the powerful affect that had upon her and her other visitors.  This gal even at 92 knows she’s a woman and loves to be flirted with and recognized as a woman who has attractions and affections.  This got me thinking about Thoreau’s quote: “To affect the quality of the day, that is the highest of the arts”.  With just one small “air kiss”, happiness happens and everyone’s day changes.  As far as happiness is concerned, sometimes small is BIG!  One could almost say, that giving a kiss a day makes troubles go away.
